Photos and board details are stored on your iPhone and are not sent to NextBase servers. They leave the app when you export, share, or tap Save to Photos. If iCloud Photos or backup is on, Apple stores them according to your settings.
Do I need an account?
No. You never enter a name, email or phone number.
Where are photos saved?
Inside the app. Tap Save to Photos to add one copy to the Photos app. The shutter does not add that copy.
What is location used for?
Only when “Stamp address on the board” is on. Address lookup uses Apple's feature, which sends your location to Apple at that time. Turn it off and the app does not look up or show an address.
Can I change the date and time?
The time of the shot is filled in automatically. You can edit it on the board.
What if I delete the app?
Photos and settings inside the app are removed. Photos you saved to the Photos app stay.
What if I change iPhones?
The app has no transfer feature. On the old iPhone, save to Photos or export first.
Can I use it for official submissions?
Check the requirements of the place you submit to.
