How to use

On the top screen, tap Photograph a menu. Allow Camera if iOS asks, then point at a menu, sign, label, or readable text. You can also pick a photo from the album on the camera screen. Live translation can appear automatically. Use the shutter if you want to freeze that scene, then Save or Share.

No-text scenes show “No text detected.” Labels, signs, notices, and general text are in scope. A price is not required except as a menu signal.

What you should see on a result

If Apple Intelligence is available, the card may explain the visible text. If not, you still get OCR / translation / price.

Free and Travel Pass

The first 3 successful reads of new scenes are free on this installation. The free allowance does not renew monthly. The same scene does not consume another use. 30-Day Travel Pass: US$9.99 reference, 30 days unlimited supported reads, no auto-renew. After expiry, any remaining free reads on this installation become available again. Restore Purchases if you already bought a pass on this Apple Account.

Camera permission

If the live view does not appear, enable Camera in iOS Settings for Menu Translator, then return to the app. Saving a captured scene also needs Photo Library add permission.
